WoSo Maniacs is looking for a driven young professional to join our team in the role of Podcast Editor.
This role involves editing audio files, including mixing, mastering and managing audio files.
This is a part-time, remote and non-paying role, however, the selected candidate will receive a small stipend as compensation. All expenses relating to internet data and other resources used while executing the role will be catered for.
As the podcast is a fortnightly one, the selected candidate will be required to work no more than 4 hours a week, twice a month.
This role will work closely with and report to the Podcast Producers.
Skills, experience and qualities
· Bachelor’s degree in Media studies or related discipline;
· Experience in audio editing or in a similar role, with portfolio of work to show;
· Experience in using Adobe Audition or Audacity is a plus;
· Creative;
· Strong time management skills;
· Strong communication skills;
· Good team player;
· Ability to work under little to no supervision;
· Organised and able to take initiative;
· Must have attention to detail; and
· Able to work remotely.
