Intern – Production Assistant

WoSo Maniacs is looking for a driven young professional to join our team in the role of Production Assistant.

This is a part-time, remote and non-paying role, however, the selected candidate will receive a small stipend as compensation. All expenses relating to internet data and other resources used while executing the role will be catered for.

As the podcast is a fortnightly one (released every two weeks), the selected candidate will be required to work no more than 12 hours a month. This role will work closely with and report to the Podcast Producers.

Responsibilities

· Assist with research;

· Assist with scheduling;

· Contribute to podcast content;

· Writing episode description; and

· Assist in the promotion of the podcast on social media channels (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram)

Skills, experience and qualities

· Bachelor’s degree in Media studies or related discipline;

· Interest in radio, podcasting or other related work;

· Interest in women’s football or women’s sports;

· Able to use Twitter, Facebook and Instagram

· Able to use Google Calendar and Zoom Conferencing Technology

· Able to research topics and develop ideas

· Strong time management skills;

· Strong communication and writing skills;

· Good team player;

· Able to work under little to no supervision;

· Organised and able to take initiative;

· Must have attention to detail; and
